We didn’t feel safe.
And we weren’t alone.
That’s where Baybilux began.”

Motherhood Meets a Style Crisis
We’re Clara and Isla — two women who became mothers and quickly realised how little of the baby world felt like it was made for us.
We met in a postnatal class, both new to this messy, beautiful chapter. Our bodies were healing, our babies wouldn’t sleep, and most days we didn’t recognise the woman staring back at us in the mirror.
As we searched for products that made early motherhood feel easier — or at least softer — we kept hitting the same wall:
Plastic-heavy gear. Garish colours. Carriers that looked like camping equipment.
And even worse, products that felt vaguely unsafe. With no clear answers. No expert guidance. Just marketing fluff.
We weren’t just tired. We were surrounded by choices — but felt completely unsupported.
We thought: Why does something as intimate as carrying your baby feel so industrial?
We couldn’t find anything that was both safe and beautiful — so we built it ourselves.
Early 2025
Searching for the Softest Materials
We started with what we lived in every day: the baby carrier.
It had to do it all:
- Feel like a second skin
- Be safe for newborn posture, hips, and neck
- Support us as much as it supported them
- And be something we’d actually want to be seen in
We started asking questions. Speaking to midwives, babywearing consultants, and paediatric physiotherapists. We tested dozens of fabrics. We carried our own babies for hours at a time. We didn’t cut corners.
What we found was the perfect blend: breathable bamboo-viscose and natural cotton — free of toxins, soft on delicate skin, and OEKO-TEX® certified.
No harsh dyes. No synthetic padding. Just clean, gentle support — backed by research and designed from love.
Spring 2025
Designing for Real Babies (and Real MUms)
We tossed out everything that didn’t feel right:
No stiff buckles. No over-engineered harnesses. No designs that looked like outdoor gear.
Instead, we created something that wrapped around your baby like a hug, supported healthy hip alignment, and offered full neck support from day one to month twelve.
It’s intuitive to put on. Folds down to the size of a scarf. And it looks — and feels — like something you chose, not something you settled for.
Because this isn’t just about function. It’s about making space for you in motherhood.
Style. Safety. Softness. All in one.

Mid 2025
From Personal Problem to Quiet Movement
We didn’t start with a product line — we started with a problem.
We made three things:
- The Baybilux Carrier
- A quilted sleep wrap
- A maternity/postpartum wrap dress that made us feel like ourselves again
We packed every order from our living rooms, tied each one with ribbon, and wrote handwritten notes to the mums on the other side.
It wasn’t loud. It wasn’t viral. But word spread — because when something feels right, people share it.
What began with frustration turned into a quiet wave of mothers choosing something gentler.
Late 2025
The Baybilux Circle Begins
By the end of the year, we were seeing our wraps in nurseries across the UK.
We were tagged in 3am feeds, first walks, skin-to-skin moments.
Mothers wrote to us:
- “I finally feel safe carrying my baby.”
- “It doesn’t just look beautiful — it works.”
- “It gave me a bit of myself back.”
That’s when we knew — this wasn’t just about a product.
This was about how motherhood feels.
We weren’t just a brand anymore. We were part of a chapter in hundreds of families’ lives.
And we were only getting started.
2026 and Beyond
Elevating Every Moment
We’re growing with care.
Adding styles slowly. Refining every material. Partnering with the experts we trust.
Because safety will always come first.
Style will never be sacrificed.
And support — for both mum and baby — is non-negotiable.
Baybilux is more than something you wear.
It’s how you carry your baby. And how you carry yourself.
Welcome to the Baybilux Circle.
We’re so glad you’re here.
