Our founder, Isla, wasn’t always a designer or an entrepreneur. She was first a mother — tired, overwhelmed, and utterly in love.

In the early months of her motherhood journey, Isla spent countless hours searching for a baby carrier that reflected the depth of her devotion to her child, while still allowing her to feel like herself again.

Not the hurried version rushing between naps and feeds — but the woman who still longed to feel elegant, grounded, and whole.

Yet every baby carrier she tried seemed to ask her to give something up:
